In ROF, the transmission and reception of light in a one-to-one configuration uses a two-core multiplexing method with individual optical fibers for both upstream and downstream. However, in systems using dark fiber, the impact of management costs on operational expenses cannot be ignored, making it difficult to easily increase the number of fibers. By preparing and synthesizing laser diodes of different optical wavelengths, it is possible to multiplex multiple optical signals onto a single optical fiber. The ROF-Link WDM Module achieves bidirectional communication using a single fiber by combining ROF-Links of different wavelengths with WDM filters.
